Media Advisory - Operation Siyahlola oversight visit to housing projects

KwaDukuza mayor S’duduzo Gumede will lead an oversight visit to Mgigimbe Informal Settlement Upgrade Project in Ward 09 and Sihle Phakathi Housing Project in Ward 24 as part of the roll-out of Operation Siyahlola.

Gumede will be conducting regular oversight visits to infrastructure sites, to highlight the municipality's focus and progress as a performance-oriented government, ensuring that public infrastructure delivery is accelerated.

He will be accompanied by the Speaker of Council, members of the executive and the portfolio committee on Infrastructure and Technical Services where they will be monitoring ongoing public infrastructure projects.

The delegation will also plant indigenous tress on sites as part of promoting the One Home, One Garden approach.
