Public Notice: Resumption of waste collection service

KwaDukuza Municipality regrets the delays in waste collection caused by multiple refuse compactor vehicle breakdowns.

A targeted recovery operation is underway and progressing with speed.

•⁠  ⁠As of today, Friday, 12 December 2025, all scheduled areas were successfully serviced.

•⁠  ⁠Remaining backlog areas will be cleared on Saturday, 13 December 2025.

Residents in affected areas are requested to place refuse bins out by 07:00 am on Saturday, 13 December 2025.

Normal weekly collection schedules will resume from Monday, 15 December 2025.

Routine collection is organised as follows:

Areas/Routes: Groutville: Mbonisweni, Hangoes, Malende, Jobs Farm; Charlotte dale: Adenville, Charlotte dale (Shila), Railway and Mbonambi Area; KwaMyeza Area.

Areas/Routes: Gledhow village and Ntshawini: 1st Left Opposite Crèche, 2nd Left After the bridge, RDP Houses, Sofaya, Cllr    Ngwane, Enkukhwini and Chris Hani- Route affected.

Important Reminders:

· Ensure waste is placed out by 07:00 am on your scheduled collection day.

· Do not engage on illegal dumping, as this poses health and environmental risks.

· All collections will resume with normal schedule from Monday, 15 December 2025.
